Waldemar Dietrich, an esteemed longstanding member of the ematec staff, coaches the Memmingen ice hockey team, the Indians, and led them to the Bavarian LeagueChampionship.
When playing in the Oberliga (third level), the Memmingen Indians met new challenges and in March 2017 finished the most successful term in the history of the club. Among others, they spectacularly won the second match of the semi-finals against the WaldkraiburgOberliga team with 4:1.
