With the RBC-D 50, ematec developed a rotor blade lifter that can grip rotor blades weighing up to 50 tons! Being convinced of this development, the wind turbine manufacturer Enercon placed a second major order with us, ordering eight blade lifter RBC-D 50.
A modular test weight is now available for testing the completed RBC-D 50 rotor blade lifter. Its weight can be increased to a maximum of 86 tons. According to the head of our Design Department Julian Eberhard, the RBC-D 50 rotor blade lifters are "tested up to 25% over load". The necessary loads are easily reached with the test weight.
